Wat Benjamabophit is famous for its lavish use of Italian marble on and around the main building, which you see as soon as you enter the main entrance. There has been a temple on this site since before modern Bangkok came into existence. This is often referred to as being the most attractive temple after Wat Phra Kaew and it certainly sparkles in the sun.
