The ancient trading port of Malaka is situated on the west coast of Malaysia, some two hours drive south-east of Kuala Lumpur. The photos show the old Portuguese quarter and the nearby Chinatown area. The nearby area of Banda Hilir gives a good view of the centre of Malaka, as well as the Straits, with ships at anchor.
